History on Display: Museums and businesses all along the route are finding and displaying Pine to Palm Highway artifacts. Many are already established and new ones are popping up regularly. Visit one! They would love to meet you and help you get to know The Highway’s history.

Sociability Runs: A day ride or a two week drive on the “Jeff” is a great way to experience true motoring history. A Sociability Run on the Jefferson Highway is a great way to keep the tradition.  If there isn’t one in your area yet, help get it started. We can help you.

Murals: Talented artists are re-creating the motoring history of the Jefferson Highway by painting murals on barns and buildings for motorists to enjoy. A mural in your town would be fantastic; find an artist and a building and make a huge contribution to the Pine to Palm Highway.

New Maps: The first comprehensive maps of the Pine to Palm Highway since 1926 are now available for free on this site. You can now find the roads in your area and enjoy the history of a great transcontinental road building enterprise.

Motorcade: A Mapping Expedition on the entire length of the Pine to Palm Highway is going to take place this November and you can be part of it. Join the Jefferson Highway Facebook page or ask for our e-mail blog and follow the adventure on a daily basis.

How you can join the party…

Awareness: Tell your friends, wear your JH apparel, put up a JH banner, help organize a motorcycle ride or an antique car rally, write a Letter to the Editor, send a Jefferson Highway postcard to a friend or join a JH interest group such as our Jefferson Highway Facebook page.

Surprise: Most people who live or do business along the Jefferson Highway don’t even know that they are on a piece of history. You can tell them and make them happy! Residents and businesses are proud to be on the JH and they become passionate boosters.

Plan an end to end trip on the Pine to Palm Highway: Travel from one end to the other at least once in your lifetime. Put the Jefferson Highway trip on your ‘bucket list’. Who will be the first person to organize a modern day ‘All the way Motorcade’?
